Federal Tax Credit Extended!!
Uncle Sam has opened his pockets again. The Federal Tax Credit has been extended to 2011…with some provisions. The new tax credit for 2011 has been reduced to 10% up to $500 from the original 30% up to $1500 that was in effect 2009-2010. They have also applied caps on some of the applications that are eligible for the credit. For instance, Tankless Water Heaters are eligible for up to $300 tax credit. While, the tax credits are not quite as pretty as the 30% up to $1500 figures that were available the past couple of years, these days everything helps.
